8 things you should know before hair dying

Tip #1. Identify your natural color

Your natural hair color is very important, as it wil help to understand from what you should start to get the desired shade. It’s obviously that if you are a raven-head, it will be much more difficult to get a blond shade. You can also ask your stylist, as he or she is more attuned to identifying nuanced tones.

Tip #2. Be realistic

Rome wasn’t built in a day. If you are a brunette, you won’t get a blond shade in a day. There is a high probability that the more you want to get at once, the more likely the results will be brassy and disappointing.

Tip #3. Try on a wig first

If you want to change your style and hair color dramatically, more than 3 shades lighter or darker, we strongly recommend you to try a wig first, and check, how it will look like on you.

It’s very fast and painless method to check is this or that color right for you.

Tip #4. Buy more than you need

Buy two boxes of hair dye at once. More is better. If you have long hair, buy three or even more. It’s better to have too much hair dye, than to realize that you haven’t enough.

Tip #5. Find the right formula

It’s known that, for women with sensitive skin it’s better to use mousse or foam formulas, for women with thick or curly hair it will be better to use gel or liquid formulas. If you have normal hair, you can choose any hair dye you want.

Tip #6. Choose a shade lighter than you want

It’s a gold rule of hair dying. Hair stylists know that hair dye always comes out darker than the image on the box, that’s why they use a hair color one or two shades lighter than the color you want.

Tip #7. Skip the shower

Natural hair oils helps to prevent irritation. That’s why dirty hair is ideal for dying.

Tip #8. Change shampoo

Don’t forget to prepare a special shampoo for dyed hair.

Or you can just come to our hair salon and get an ammonia free hair coloring, which is less harmful, than any other. We are always glad to see you.
